Cameras and Cranksets

Old camera, new photos

Posted in 35mm by Richard on November 14, 2011

I picked up a lovely little Ricoh 500G 35mm rangefinder at a carboot sale for the princely sum of………. £1.00!! The new battery for it cost me more!  I’ve shot a couple of films through it now with mixed results, on one hand the light leaks are lovely.  But on the other,  just realising now it’s a bit broken and it’ll only shoot in f16 when in shutter priority mode has been a bit of a bugger as I’ve lost some potentially nice shots. Oh well……

Rolling around London

I was in London last week to shoot a job, unfortunately I wasn’t on my bike, so the rolls in question here are a couple of rolls of 35mm film I shot through my 2nd hand Olympus Trip when I was running about the city trying (and failing) to see some exhibitions.

Barcelona

We went to Barcelona the other week with the fixed gears and had an awesome time if you haven’t already heard.  All the pics here were taken on my phone (as usual) as my DSLR stayed in the safe in my hotel room the whole time due to Barca’ being literally full of thieves, my habit of falling of my bike and breaking things (usually bones) and because I’ve not had the films from my lomo developed yet.  I’m saving the actual riding kind of shots for a post on Breaksof10.com when I pull my finger out and get it sorted, so ladies and gentlemen without further adieu I give you ‘Barcelona’
