Old camera, new photos
I picked up a lovely little Ricoh 500G 35mm rangefinder at a carboot sale for the princely sum of………. £1.00!! The new battery for it cost me more! I’ve shot a couple of films through it now with mixed results, on one hand the light leaks are lovely. But on the other, just realising now it’s a bit broken and it’ll only shoot in f16 when in shutter priority mode has been a bit of a bugger as I’ve lost some potentially nice shots. Oh well……
New friends, new cameras and old favourites.
“Venimus, Vidimus, Vicimus”
Well it’s not quite “We came, we saw, we cycled” but seeing as the Romans weren’t big on riding bikes……
Hopped on the train down to York last week to spend a few hours rummaging through charity shops, weaving in and out of Spanish tourists, and photographing religious nutters, before getting the train home slightly drunk.
Under exposed
Whoops! I didn’t realise it had been so long since I’d last posted.
So I guess I should post some shots from a couple of recently developed films.
Get your ass there!
Tomorrow night (Friday 27th) sees the premiere of the locally shot BMX film ‘For those about to peg’ at the great Tyne Bar in the Ouseburn. Come down and watch people you recognise hurting themselves, on the big screen, and have a pint or seven.
I’m going even thoughI reckon it was a BMXer who stole the purple bar grips off my bars last Sunday…….. C@%T
